Before we can post about growing your own food, we need to have something to show you. So in late March this is about as far as 2017’s vegetables have progressed. On my small London terrace, there is room for runner beans, a variety of tomatoes, vertically climbing courgettes and the new British vegetable kalettes(both experimental), mixed salad leaves, Dutch andijve (the great endive debate will come later in the year) and as many herbs as I can fit in, with masses of basil and coriander for pesto. All grown at minimal expense from seed. Watch this space.
